Difference between Innovation in Religion and Sunnah Hasanah

Innovation in religion is called Bidah in Arabic Sunnah Hasanah means good practice in Arabic Language. Many different scholars have made it the difference clear. Bidah mean to introduce something new in the religion which is not mentioned in the holy book Quran or Sunnah. It also includes the new kind of worship which was not reported by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So, innovation in both the Aqeedah and Ebadath. According to our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) sayings, the interpretation of which is that Every innovation is considered as guiding differently and everything like that will lead to hellfire.

According to the Quranic Ayaths [Quran MP3], the Deen or our religion is complete. Hence, any addition to the Ibadah or Aqeedah will be taken as the religion being incomplete. Equally, if you omit something from religion, that would mean that religion contains some things which are unnecessary. Islam is the perfect and complete – it means that the Islam is perfect according to the quality standards and it is complete means that it has a complete w.r.t. Quantity.

Any addition in the religion and any deletion from it is called Biddah. Islamic methods are complete and balanced and it will come from the maker of the universe, The All aware and the all knowing.

If anyone would like to add Salat in the religion, that would mean he is taking away people from Islam. Any additional thing will have a negative effect on the religion.

If someone says that fasting should end until night instead of sunset, that will be considered Bidah. If someone says that the fasting should be 6 months, whereas the fact is that it is for 1 month.

From the discussion above, it has been proved that it is important to learn the Quran Pak and to help you in this avenue, an application named as Noorani Qaida is highly recommended.

Surah Rahman of the Quran is also another great application that will give you many advantages.
